yesterday i participated in my first ever disc golf tournament, the j-park jammer. dwayne played too. it was a lot of fun. there were 70 people there for 2 rounds of play, including professional tour players. there were several different divisions. i played in the am3 division, which is the lowest level except for women and juniors. there were 6 players in my field, and i finished first! i also won a ctp (closest to pin) contest. all together between the players pack and the payout i walked away with 4 new discs, a mini disc, a dvd, a trophy, and for some reason a jar of home made organic strawberry jam. i now have a total of 14 discs and two minis. i definitely need a bigger bag. after the tourney a headed over to andy sonnelkaub's bachelor party. all in all it was a very good day.
